Technical Requirements for Steel Fiber in Construction

Ⅰ. What is the steel fiber

Surface friction coefficient of steel fiber: the smaller the fiber diameter, the larger the friction coefficient, and the more obvious the functionality of its special fiber. Theoretically, the paving surface is more uniform. Because of its special functionality, it may be necessary to change the space environment and processing technology of the paving process in order to achieve better material functionality. The versatility of steel fiber: conductivity, anti-electromagnetic wave, sound absorption, filtering, anti-static, abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, cutting resistance, etc.

Ⅱ. Technical requirements for steel fiber in construction

1. The cement grade shall not be less than 425, and the cement ratio shall not be greater than 0.5.

2. The diameter of skeleton grain should not exceed 2/3 of the length of steel fiber.

3. The volume of steel fiber in the steel fiber reinforced concrete should not be less than 0.5%, generally within 0.5 to 2%.

4. Sea water and sea sand shall not be used for mixing steel fiber reinforced concrete, and chlorine salt is strictly prohibited.

5. Other materials used in steel fiber reinforced concrete should comply with the regulations on raw materials used in reinforced concrete in the current specifications.

6. The consistency of steel fiber reinforced concrete such as hooked steel fiber can be determined by referring to the consistency required by similar projects for ordinary concrete. Its slump value can be 20mm smaller than the value required for corresponding ordinary concrete, and its Viber consistency value is the same as the value required for the corresponding ordinary concrete.

7. There is no foundation reinforcement such as lime soil under the cushion layer and surface layer of the steel fiber reinforced concrete whose shrinkage joint is a flat-head joint structure, and the following conditions are met at the same time: the thickness of the cushion layer and surface layer before the demolition is not less than 130cm; The thickness of foundation reinforcement is greater than the thickness of the cushion, but not less than 50cm.
