Application Fields of Steel Fiber

There are many types of steel fiber products. According to the material, there are ordinary carbon steel fiber and stainless steel fiber. Among them, ordinary steel fiber is mostly used. According to the shape, there are long and straight, indented, wavy, hooked, big head and warp steel fibers. According to the cross-sectional shape, the steel fibers are divided into round, rectangular, crescent and irregular ones; according to the production process, the steel fibers are divided into cut type, shear type, milling type and melt extraction type; according to construction purpose, the steel fiber is divided into steel fibers for pouring and steel fibers for spraying.

Application of steel fiber in metallurgical industry: spray gun, dip tube, slag weir in refining outside the furnace; tundish cover and lining; electric furnace triangle area; furnace cover; iron ditch cover; torpedo tank; coke oven door; steel rolling reheating furnace door; furnace roof; burner nozzle; annular furnace fire wall; furnace bottom roller; forging furnace steel trough and other refractory linings of various furnaces.

Ⅱ. The application of steel fiber to the construction industry

Steel fiber mixed with concrete is a new type of composite material that has developed rapidly internationally in recent years, among which steel fiber reinforced concrete has the fastest development. The steel fiber reinforced concrete has excellent properties such as tensile strength, bending resistance, shear resistance, crack resistance, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, and high toughness. Because of the advantages of steel fiber reinforced concrete, it is widely used in construction, highway pavement, bridges, tunnels, airport pavements, hydraulic engineering, port engineering, military engineering and various construction products.

1. Steel fiber is used in the heat-resistant lining of kilns, sintering furnaces, reduction furnaces, refining furnaces, flues, burners and other furnaces.

2. Steel fiber like glued steel fiber is used in the lining of the catalytic cracking unit in the petrochemical industry, especially the oil refining unit.

3. Steel fiber is used in the heat-resistant lining of boilers in thermal power plants.

4. Steel fiber is used in vibrating furnace bottom and various heating furnaces in the machinery industry.
